Theoretical lectures are alternated with practical application in the form of laboratory exercises in which course participants work in pairs under supervision.

Continues with a more in-depth study of extraction techniques, evaluation of malocclusions and orthodontic devices, diagnosis and treatment of traumatic injuries on both feline and canine teeth and jaw. This five-day intense advanced course provides attendees that have already completed Dentistry I and II (or have comparable experience), with an additional in-depth knowledge of diseases of the endodontic system – what these are, how to diagnose them and what materials and techniques are required for an appropriate treatment.

This three-day course will review techniques for routine and complicated extractions in dogs and cats. It will mainly focus on the avoidance and management of possible procedural complications (e.g., root fracture, oronasal and oroorbital communications) and the management of possible pre-existing conditions that may complicate extractions (e.g., dental ankylosis, significant loss of gingival tissues)
